Composed of a conductive elastomer and an insulating silicone, our bi-material seal is manufactured using the principle of coextrusion. By separating the microwave shielding function from the environmental sealing function, our anti-corrosion bi-material seals are then much more resistant to extreme environments where the life of a conductive mono-material seal would be shorter.
Our corrosion-resistant bi-material EMC gaskets are available as extruded profiles, moulded seals, die-cut or adhered to your substrate. This process is also applicable to equipment housing covers by direct vulcanisation in our workshops.
